What a SLacKeR!!

So it has been over 2 months since I have blogged and basically this is why...................... This is seriously all we have been doing all summer, VERY time consuming. We have really tried to have some sort of real summer for the kids but it has been hard. It is a huge project to take the whole family anywhere, I definitely need another adult to do anything. The kids have had a fun time with friends and going places around here. We did a big trip in the spring and hopefully will do some in the fall. It was just not possible the past couple of months. We have definitely kept busy this summer. Here is a few of the things we have been up to..

Kamryn had her final dance recital in June. She did a great job. She did just tap dance this year and absolutely loved it. She got to be "Jessie" from Toy Story 2 in a big disney opening act. She is such a cute dancer and really worked hard, I am really proud of her.

She did a cute dance about a duck. It was fun because they sang the song while they danced. Her dad bought her flowers which is always her favorite. (besides being able to wear makeup!)The summer has been busy for the kids. They play all the time. There have been days when they just can't go any longer. Tarek loves to cuddle up to his big brother these two slept for over 2 hours. They are too cute.

Ryker played in his first soccer tournament this summer. It was really a good experience for the kids. They made it to the semi finals which was really good because they played some really good teams. A lot of the kids were a year older than them. They didn't win but had a blast playing. Ryker plays forward the first half and goalie the second. He is an awesome player.

The majority of the summer we spent swimming. Mostly at the OAC pool. The kids could swim everyday if we let them. We went to the Roy Aquatic center a few times and blew up the waterslide pool in our backyard also. My kids have to have their goggles everywhere they go. Tarek is so funny because usually he has them over his ears and they look so uncomfortable. We can't tell him any different though.
We have not really had a bedtime for the kids this summer. It was kinda been an anything goes or until we can't stand them anymore =) There were some late nights when the more tired they get the more crazy they get. These are my power rangers doing some night time entertaining! We had some good laughs.

This is on the 4th of July at my uncle Ray's house. Every 4th of July we go to his house in hooper. There is always skeet shooting for the boys and tons of food. The kids swim, and of course more food. Then always tons of fireworks and a bonus is we can see the Hooper fireworks from his house too. It is so much fun and we do it every year!!

My favorite thing this summer is to go to breakfast at the pleasant valley grill. It is at a golf course. You sit outside and it is so quiet and pretty. They have YUMMY crispy french toast that I eat more than I should. It is the coolest place. Then after we go let the kids hit a bucket of balls. We have done this a few times this summer and hopefully we will do it a few more before school starts. It is very relaxing and fun for the kids! Highly recommend this for breakfast too much fun!

We blessed the babies this past week. It turned out really well. Jon did a great job. He was really nervous to bless two babies and not have them sound the same. He was great and everything went great. As always we had tons of support.

Cache and Cai are here!

Yes they are finally here, actually a week ago just getting around to posting some pics.
Cache Dylan and Cai Justin were born May 18. Cache weighted 5'9 and Cai weighed 5'7. I had to have a c-section because they were breech. My water broke at 2:45 in the morning and they were born at 6:15 and 6:17. We feel so blessed because they were only 35 weeks and neither had to go to the NICU. They are both healthy and so dang cute!! This is our first family picture of the "SEVEN" of us. pretty crazy, yeah that is Ryker being himself. Tarek is not so sure about the whole baby thing, he just kinda ignores them but is nice to them. The other two are smitten.
They are definitely fraternal. They look nothing alike at all it is pretty funny. Cache (left) is kind of the black sheep of our family he doesnt look like the other kids really at all. He has tons of dark hair. It makes it nice to be able to tell them apart so easily.
This is right after we had them. I was totally drugged and couldn't believe we really just had two babies. Jon was awesome taking care of me and making sure the babies were ok. It all happened so fast and unexpected that we were so happy everything worked out and went well.

Happy Mothers Day!!

I just wanted to let the "moms" in my life to know how much I love them! Mothers Day always seems to be such a crazy day that I don't get the time to really think about moms and all they mean to me!

First and foremost I wanted to tell my mom how much I love her. I am so lucky to have her as my mom. She is honestly the most supportive person in my life. I know she will always be there when I need her. My family is super close and supportive of each other. I know that it is because of my mom it is that way. We rarely have drama and when there is it is said and done in minutes. I have a hard time asking for help ever, and she is one of the few people that recognizes it and steps up. I love spending time with my mom she is one of my favorite people in the world. I love you MOM!
I know it is cheesy having a picture of my graduation but it is the only picture I have of both my mom and my mother-in-law. They are both so suppportive of me and my family. We are so lucky they both live close and have them so involved in our kids lives. Two Awesome Grandmas. We are lucky because our two families get together and get along. Bob and Janel cooked us and my parents dinner yesterday for Mothers Day. It was fun to be with both of our families and the kids love it. I love you guys.
Last but not least is one of the greatest examples in my life! My Grandma! She is the most amazing person ever. Between her 6 kids (and tons of grandkids and greatgrandkids) and Merrill (her cute hubby) 6(?) kids and they keep very busy. You would never know, they come to nearly anything kids birthdays, baptisms, etc. My favorite thing about my grandma is she just loves and accepts everyone for who they are! She does not judge people or stereotype, just embraces and welcomes anyone that may come. She has had many trials in her life, and is so amazing. All of our family is lucky to have her as head of the family. This picture is of our yearly St. George trip and of course they come every year. Even at New Years they always have our silly string fight to ring in the new year and she is right in the middle. She is too much fun. I love you Grandma.

When is D DAY??

I never thought I would be ready for these twins to come. My pregnant body has officially made me WANT to have these babies here! The babies are both around 5 pounds which is on the bigger side of what they should be. From the constant heartburn, never sleeping, contractions and of course the CANKLES I am done. My nose has gotten huge too! What the heck. I really do at this point think it will be much easier taking care of twins than this. I am sure I will be proved wrong but hey at least I will have my body back. This has by far been the toughest few weeks and I know I still have a few more. I am really hoping we make it to at least 36 weeks so hopefully they will be able to come home with us. For twins we have been lucky as far as the pregnancy goes. There are lots of girls on the floor I work that are stuck in the hospital until they deliver which would be bad. Ok I am done just had to vent for a minute. We are so close.

We finally got all the bedrooms arranged in our house. Tarek moved into his new room and gave us the twins room. Both rooms got new paint and carpet they are too cute. It was a little crazy when Jon put up the cribs we freaked a little.
My cute but VERY stubborn friend Kristin through me a twin shower with my fam and friends against all my fighting. It was a lunch at Olive Garden and turned out fun. But we got such cute FUN stuff and two of everything. It was really helpful I can't believe how crazy it is to buy two of everything we need. I have pictures but I broke the large barrier so they cannot be posted. Anyways Thanks Kristin for doing it and for everyone that came. Michelle even came with her cute new baby at home!
I have seriously been so grateful for friends lately. I just can't believe how much support I have gotten from them through this time. I have so many people offer to take the kids during the day so I can rest or just come see how we are doing. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives. We seriously consider so many family. I just am amazed by how involved and supportive everyone is. Thanks so much we love you!! You know who you are!
PS: Suzy holy cow how is Greg! What can we do?
I posted random pics just cuz!!

Bootcamp worked!!!

So Monday morning I realize I am down to one diaper. I just decided I was done, I am not buying any more!! I put underwear on Tarek, got out the stuff and we went to it. It was a LONG day and lots of underwear and laundry. The next day he woke up and put underwear on himself (definitely pull ups at night for now) and went on his own. I even had to go run some errands and admit I wanted to put a pull up on him for my own convenience but he threw a fit and wanted underwear. Since then he has pretty much done great. I don't even have to ask him every 10 minutes he just goes when he needs to. Today we were doing stuff since 9 this morning and he would tell me when he needed to go with NO accidents all day-even at Mcdonalds! I am amazed. He is VERY OCD about being dirty so I think that helped me out! I think we officially have him potty trained. Yay I might not have 3 kids in diapers!!

RyKer's BaPTism

Ryker was baptized on Saturday. It was such a great day. I was blown away by how excited and ready he was to be baptized. He has been counting down for the past six months. He has been trying really hard to be good the past couple months just to be sure he would be able to be baptized.

I didn't take nearly as many pics as I should have. The day was so busy and seemed to go so fast. He was baptized and confirmed by his dad. We had so much support there it was great. We have such great family and friends in our lives. He even invited some of his inactive friends to come watch him get baptized.
We had a little dinner get together at our house following. It is so fun to celebrate such a great occasion. I am so proud of my little guy. I am still freaking out that I have a 8 year old. He was so meant to be our first kid. He is such a leader and great example for his sister and brother. The day went perfect and he couldn't be happier!! I love you so much Ryker, I am so proud of YOU!!

5k with the fAm....

Goldenwest Credit Union sponsors a 5k every year. They match all the money made and donate it to the school of choice. Most of the schools around here participate in it. Sat morning was really COLD but once we got moving it was really fun. I don't think Tarek ever warmed up though!! Doesn't he look like he is having a blast!!!
Ryker and his friends ran a lot of the way. One of his friends dad's was nice enough to run with them. They finished WAY before us!! Kamryn rode her scooter the whole way!! She did awesome to keep up. Ya we walked or I waddled most of the way but it was great to get out and move!!

The BEST Uncle EVER!!

The night of Rykers birthday my brother came over and gave Ryker Snowboarding passes to Powder Mtn. The best part was he said they are going the next day and he was going to teach Ryker how. ( he has wanted to learn forever) So the next night he came and picked him up, they spent the night snowboarding. Ryker could not have been happier. All he has said all week was that was the BEST present he has ever gotten. Brian made his year!! He looks up to him a ton so I think the one on one time was just as fun as the snowboarding!! Thanks Brian We Love You!!!

CaTcHinG uP!!!

I have been the biggest slacker lately!! I have a ton of stuff I want to blog but I just don't. It is my life story right now. I have next to NO motivation to do anything. Getting through the days sometimes is accomplishment enough! The babies are doing good, they each weigh about 2 1/2 pounds. They are super HEAVY already though. My belly button has popped out already (it never did with my other kids). I am just getting HUGE!! I feel like I am in my last month and I still have at least 2 to go!! We are thinking we should start getting ready for them, we have seriously done NOTHING. We had an apt with the perinatologist and I think that was the first time I felt some excitement for them to come. They are cute! Jon said the same thing when we left. I know it is sad! If anybody has name ideas they would be great!! Even middle names we want them to have middle names but just random ones.
Kamryn got her insulin pump almost a month ago. It was a ton of worry and finger pokes at first. We have gotten the hang of it and it is AWESOME!! Kam can eat what she wants when she wants and we just program the machine to give her insulin. She only has to get poked once every 3 days and it has really helped control her sugars. It has not been without issues to work through (she got cellulitis in her leg :( ) It has been a HUGE blessing in our lives. I was worried it would effect her body image at first but she loves to show it off and wears it on her clothes for everyone to see. She is even starting to learn to work it herself. We need to have her a pro before she starts 1st grade in the fall so she can be independent with school lunch.
She also moved into her new room awhile ago. Jon did an awesome job building it for her and it is DARLING. She picked out what she wanted and has it just her way. I worried she would be scared to move into the basement but she loves it.
Rykers birthday was Monday. I cannot believe I have an 8 year old!! He has been so excited to turn 8 and get baptized and start scouts. We only let our kids have a party on their odd birthday but on their even one they get to take a friend and do something fun. Well Jon and I are huge pushovers and ended up taking 9 kids to the clearfield pool to swim! (it is sooo cheap though!) Ryker has a bunch of good friends and everyone wanted him to invite them and i seriously have this problem where I can't say NO! Kamryn brought her friends to so it turned into a bigger group than we started with but it was a blast.
The night of his birthday we got our families together at the pizzaria (of course!) We seriously are addicted to that place. It turned out really fun Ryker had all of his grandparents and his great grandparents come. His aunt and uncle were there with our cute cousins and then remember the "cousins" that are really distant? We were told that they are cousins and have to come so they came also. It was a big group. Ryker felt so special it was great.
The best dad ever!! Ryker really looks up to him. It has made a big difference in their relationship having Jon home a lot. We are really lucky.
I love this pic because it has his great grandparents in it which is priceless.
